The Author

Leanne McWade

Leanne is passionate about the welfare of dogs. Leanne began working with dogs after she rescued her Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mitzey from One Dog at a Time. A rescue charity committed to not euthanizing dogs unnecessarily. She quickly began volunteering and eventually became a key part of the running of the charity. Leanne then went on to co-found East Anglia Dog Rescue . Since then she has been instrumental in fundraising and finding new homes for challenging, often neglected and ill dogs. Leanne has most recently raised over £1,000 for East Anglia Dog Rescue after being locked in one of the kennels for 72 hours.

Leanne is also the owner and Head of Training for the Dog Training College. This role sees her lecturing throughout the UK to owners and professionals. Leanne also works with private clients, teaches classes and writes training courses. Leanne over sees the Dog Training College network of instructors.
